These terms apply to your use of TravelersChoice.is, operated by TravelersChoice.is, Reykjavík, Iceland (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Who we are
TravelersChoice.is is a curated travel marketplace that lists and resells Iceland tours, transfers, and experiences as an affiliate. We are local Iceland travel specialists; we are not the tour operator.
2. How booking works
Tours are provided by independent Icelandic operators and are booked, paid for, confirmed, and supported through our booking provider, Tour Desk ehf. (“TourDesk”). When you complete a booking you also agree to TourDesk’s and the relevant operator’s terms, which are presented at checkout. Prices are set by the operator and shown in the currency displayed at checkout, and availability is provided live by the operator.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation terms are set per tour by the operator and shown at checkout before you pay. They vary by tour — for example, some allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, others up to 48 or 72 hours, and after the applicable cut-off a booking may be non-refundable. Always read the cancellation policy shown for your specific tour. Cancellation and refund requests are handled under TourDesk’s and the operator’s terms, and a TourDesk administration fee may apply to refunds.
4. Our role and liability
We act as a curator and affiliate storefront. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of operators, guides, or transport providers, or for any loss, injury, delay, or expense arising from the tours themselves. The operator is responsible for delivering the tour you book.
5. Accuracy of information
We aim to describe tours accurately. Factual booking details — price, availability, pickup, and cancellation terms — come from TourDesk and the operators and always take precedence over editorial descriptions on this site.
6. Intellectual property
Content on this site is owned by TravelersChoice.is or used under licence, and may not be copied or reused without permission.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland.
