This private 11-hour Super Jeep tour follows Iceland's spectacular South Coast from Reykjavík, delivering an ever-changing panorama of waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, and raw coastal scenery. Along the way you'll pass views of Hekla, Iceland's most active volcano, the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano, and the distant Westman Islands.

The itinerary takes in two of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is unique in that visitors can walk behind the cascading curtain of water for a truly immersive perspective. Skógafoss, standing 65 metres tall and 25 metres wide, is one of the largest waterfalls in the country — legend even claims a chest of gold is hidden behind it.

After visiting the southernmost village of Vík, the tour leaves the main road entirely. Your modified Super Jeep navigates off-road terrain to reach the base of the Katla glacier, a tongue of ice flowing from Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland's fourth-largest glacier. Here you'll gear up with provided crampons and helmets before exploring the crystal blue ice caves carved into the glacier's base.

The tour also stops at Reynisfjara, the South Coast's most visited black sand beach, where dramatic Atlantic waves crash against the shore and the basalt sea stacks of Reynisdrangar rise from the ocean. All guides are trained in glacial exploration and hold first aid certification.
