Reykjavík: Golden Circle & Langjökull Glacier Super Jeep Tour with Snowmobile & Secret Lagoon

This full-day Super Jeep tour from Reykjavík takes you deep into Iceland's interior, combining three of the country's most iconic experiences into a single action-packed day. Your guide collects you from your hotel or a designated bus stop in the city before heading north into the Icelandic Highlands.

The route cuts through the heart of the Golden Circle region, where you may catch a glimpse of the legendary Geysir erupting — shooting superheated water approximately 50 metres into the air. Passing Gullfoss, the tour continues into the highland interior, climbing toward Langjökull Glacier, Iceland's second-largest ice cap.

At the glacier's edge, you'll gear up at the Glacial Hut for a one-hour snowmobile tour. Full snowmobile equipment — overalls, gloves, balaclava, and helmet — is provided. A brief safety briefing with your guide precedes every ride. Note that two passengers share one snowmobile by default; solo riding is available at an additional cost, and a valid driver's licence is required to operate a snowmobile.

After the glacier, the tour winds down to the charming village of Flúðir, home to the Secret Lagoon — one of Iceland's oldest natural geothermal pools. Soak in the warm mineral-rich waters surrounded by steaming hot springs before returning to Reykjavík.

Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Reykjavík — pickup takes place approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. The Super Jeep heads north along the main highway before turning into the highlands, skirting the Golden Circle corridor. Weather permitting, you may witness Geysir erupting as you pass through the geothermal valley.

The journey continues past Gullfoss and into the highland interior, where the landscape becomes increasingly remote and dramatic. At Langjökull Glacier, your guide will outfit you with snowmobile gear at the Glacial Hut. After a safety briefing, you'll head out onto the glacier for a one-hour snowmobile ride.

The afternoon brings a more relaxed pace as the group travels to Flúðir and the Secret Lagoon. Entrance is included, and you're welcome to bring your own swimwear or rent a bathing suit on-site. A towel is included with your lagoon visit. The tour then returns to Reykjavík to conclude the day.
