Combine Iceland's most iconic landmarks in one 11-hour small-group tour. Explore Þingvellir National Park, watch Strokkur geyser erupt, marvel at Gullfoss waterfall, visit Kerið volcanic crater, and finish with a relaxing soak at the Blue Lagoon.
This 11-hour small-group tour pairs the Golden Circle with an evening visit to the Blue Lagoon, giving you Iceland's most celebrated natural and geothermal highlights in a single day.
The journey begins at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Icelandic Commonwealth was founded and where you can stand above the North Atlantic Divergent Ridge. From there, the tour continues to the Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur shoots boiling water up to 20 metres into the air every three to four minutes.
Next, the group visits Gullfoss, a thundering two-tiered waterfall widely regarded as the most spectacular of Iceland's 30,000 waterfalls. The route then takes you to Kerið volcanic crater, a vivid crater lake ringed by jet-black and deep-red lava slopes above brilliant blue-green water — and admission is included in your tour price.
The day concludes at the Blue Lagoon, where you can unwind in the famous geothermal waters. Please note that Blue Lagoon admission tickets are not included and must be booked separately before travel. Food is not included, but lunch stops are made along the route where you can purchase a meal.
Your small-group tour departs from Bus Stop #12 (opposite Storm Hotel, Þórunnartún 6, Reykjavík). Hotel pickup is available as an optional add-on; if you opt for the meeting point, allow time to arrive before the scheduled departure.
The day follows the classic Golden Circle route:
The tour runs for 11 hours in total. Children aged 8 years and above are welcome. Minimum age is 8 years.
This small-group format keeps group sizes manageable, so you spend more time exploring and less time waiting. A professional guide accompanies you throughout, providing context at every stop — from Iceland's Viking-age history at Þingvellir to the geology behind Strokkur's eruptions.
