A valid driver's licence is required only if you wish to drive the snowmobile on Langjökull glacier. Passengers who do not hold a licence can still participate in the tour and ride as a passenger on a shared snowmobile with a licenced driver.
How many people share a snowmobile?↓
Two participants share one snowmobile by default. If you prefer to ride solo, a single-rider option is available at an additional cost. Please request this at the time of booking or confirm the arrangement at checkout.
What snowmobile equipment is provided?↓
The operator provides a helmet, gloves, a winter suit, and a buff for the glacier snowmobile section. You are responsible for wearing your own warm, waterproof base layers and sturdy footwear. Shoe covers are available if needed.

Yes. The minimum age for this tour is 6 years. Price categories are available for children aged 6–11 and teenagers aged 12–17. Only one child is permitted per accompanying adult on this tour.
