Reykjavík: South Coast & Jökulsárlón Tour (Chinese-Guided)

This full-day South Coast tour takes you to some of Iceland's most celebrated natural wonders, guided entirely in Chinese by experienced local guides. Over 14 hours and 30 minutes, you will travel the length of Iceland's dramatic southern shoreline, stopping at landmarks that define the country's wild beauty.

Your journey includes two of Iceland's most beloved waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss, which is illuminated after dark to create a spectacular glow against the winter sky, and the powerful Skógafoss. Both falls offer unforgettable photographic opportunities in the soft Arctic light.

A dinner break in the charming coastal village of Vík gives you time to rest and experience genuine Icelandic hospitality before continuing east toward the tour's centrepiece.

The journey culminates at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the adjacent Diamond Beach, where translucent icebergs drift across the lagoon and glitter against black volcanic sand. In winter, the low Arctic sun bathes the scene in golden light at both sunrise and sunset — a photographer's dream. Note that the optional glacier boat tour on the lagoon is available only between 1 May and 31 October.

Heading east along the South Coast, the first major stops are the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. During winter months, Seljalandsfoss is beautifully lit after dark. A lunch stop is included in the schedule, though the meal itself is not covered in the tour price.

After a relaxed dinner break in Vík, the tour continues to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Here you will witness icebergs drifting across the lagoon and sparkling on the black sand shore — perfectly timed in winter to catch both sunrise and sunset light.
